Naspers Ltd. (NPN.JO) said Tuesday that it launched the sale of around 22 million shares in Prosus NV (PRX.AE).
The South-Africa based internet group said the sale represents about 1.4% of Prosus's ordinary shares. The placing is expected to increase the Netherlands-based company's free-float to 27.5% from 26.2%, with Naspers expected to hold about 72.5% of the issued shares after completion.
Naspers has a 73.8% stake in the company.
