NEW YORK, Nov. 26 -- Keryx Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: KERX; AIM:
KRX), today announced that application has been made to the London Stock
Exchange for admission to trading on the Alternative Investment Market of
3,529,413 shares of common stock, par value $0.001 (the "new ordinary shares").
These shares are being issued pursuant to the private equity investment
into Keryx by institutional investors announced on 18 November 2003. The new
ordinary shares will rank pari passu with the existing shares in issue and are
expected to be admitted to the Alternative Investment Market at 8.00am on 26
November 2003.
