Notifiable Interest and Directors' Shareholdings



The Company has been notified today that, in accordance with sections 198-208 of
the Companies Act 1985, the estate of Mrs M Slingsby (deceased) no longer has a
notifiable interest in the Company.



In accordance with section 324 of the Companies Act 1985, as amended, the
Company has been informed today that the notifiable interests of Mr J.F.
Slingsby, Chairman, Mr D.S. Slingsby, Managing Director and Mr C.J. Slingsby,
Sales Director, in the ordinary 25p shares of the Company have increased
following the transfer of shares to these directors and/or their connected
persons from the above estate on 4 November 2003.



The increase in the directors' shareholdings and their resultant notifiable
interests are shown below:

the Companies Act 1985, Miss S.E. Slingsby has a notifiable interest in 30,000
ordinary shares representing 3 per cent. of the issued share capital of the
Company.



The above percentages are based on 1,000,000 ordinary shares of 25p each in the
Company being in issue at the date of this announcement.
