19/8/2018 13:14 | Bristol distillery announces cryptocurrency whisky Circumstance Distillery, set to become Bristol’s first whisky and rum distillery for over 70 years, opens its doors this month. But it has already raised eyebrows for being thoroughly modern when it comes to selling its products. Customers can buy cryptocurrency tokens (a bit like Bitcoin) which can be redeemed for any bottle regardless of age or value when they become available. The first 1,000 tokens will be £30 each, the next £35, and the final 1,000 are priced at £40. No further tokens will be sold once Circumstance starts releasing products. The difference between this and other spirit futures is, according to co-founder Liam Hirt: “As the tokens are on a blockchain they can also be traded or sold, which is the first of its kind in the drinks world!” The first spirits produced by head distiller Mark Scott and his team should be available in the next three months – so you will have to hurry if you want in on the token action. You never know, it might do a Bitcoin and go through the roof. If not, at least you’ll have some top-notch West Country liquor. | bargainbob
19/8/2018 12:30 | BTW ... Has anyone else noticed the trading patterns on PLUS1? It applies to both exchanges. There are basically two things which happen periodically:- 1) Auto-exchanging pools dump at the bid (this is after a low diff interval). 2) Sponsored faucet customers of ADVFN buy indiscriminately at the offer. It occurs to me that if you had a bunch of BTC you could quite successfully act as a market maker here and make a whopping big spread on a regular basis. | mattybuoy
19/8/2018 11:56 | I have been using Crypto Bridge for months now, made several trades on different pairs and numerous deposits and withdrawals all without a hitch. The user interface could definitely be improved, but that could be said about most exchanges. My main point was to warn people about the very high withdrawal fees on Trade Satoshi. Trade Satoshi BTC withdrawal fee = 0.02 BTC (c.£10) Crypto Bridge BTC withdrawal fee = 0.003 BTC (c.$1.50) | mattybuoy
18/8/2018 23:21 | Cryptobridge looked quite interesting until you read the comments at the bottom. www.bestbitcoinexcha Any reassurance? from those in the know? Plus1 donations welcome here, if this saved you the bother of looking or losing PWL2h23c8kSTAmhSiqeh and just to be fair... some good comments to prove I'm neutral www.reddit.com/r/Cry | advfnusermum
18/8/2018 16:01 | Trade Satoshi is not a good exchange. In particular their transfer fees for when you move crypto off the exchange are very high. For example, to withdraw BTC will cost 0.002 BTC which is about £10 at the moment. For trading or investing in PLUS1 I would recommend Crypto Bridge. It's a bit complicated but the transfer fees are way smaller. | mattybuoy
18/8/2018 08:35 | dsct, I was doing similar on Bitfinex, although they don't have any of the really "small" coins. Buy/Sell spread was immaterial by placing orders and letting others trade against them. Fees were just 0.1% (when placing orders) and 0.2% on the rare occasions I took an at market quote. Very occasionally you could make small profit on an arbitrage trade... ie. buy (say) IOTA for BTC, sell the BTC to $$, and then buy back more IOTA than you started with... but hardly worth the trouble to make just a small gain... bigger arb. opportunities with the smaller coins, but not as much volume could leave you stranded. Even the popular coins would swing 5-10% per day... I'd set buy/sell orders a couple of % inside the previous days lows/highs and was making around 2-3% per day overall profit across a range of coins.. Worked fine until the prices crashed, and I was left holding lots of expensive babies!! I think BFX now needs a minimum of $10k (or coin equivalent) to open an account - but fortunately I got in well before they introduced that. Most of the larger exchanges allow order driven trading, and similar low fees, and may not require a such a high minimum opening balance. Good luck - you'll need it..!! | steve73
18/8/2018 07:33 | Been playing about with these crypto's for a while now, and opened a tradesatoshi account. What I'd be grateful for info on, is: 1) Is tradesatoshi a safe enough place for transferring/storing cryptos ? Bearing in mind I've not got vast sums in these. 2) Is anyone trading on price fluctuations. i.e. PlusOne has dropped to <0.02, but has spiked (this week?) at >0.06. Ideally, swapping to BTC when it was 0.06 and buying back at 0.02 may have been wise (after the event! Lol). I presume there's a f/x(?) rate when you do this, and without checking all pairs of crpyto's, have noted it's about 5%, so there needs to be large swings to cover this. | dsct

17/8/2018 13:40 | I have a question.. can you change the code to allow +1 referral bonuses to multiple posters. as it is now only the poster who got the initial bonus is eligible to receive any future bonus. most did not realize this and i certainly didn't so i wasted a lot of bonuses thinking i could spread around the gifts bonuses. now if you are still sharing coins here is my wallet id .. :) P92FnaBAfjDpBp3xd4Wp oh and another thing while i am at it. i was putting a link to my referral bonus links on the Plus One Buddy Board (POBB) in my signature but it was deemed spam and deleted. i couldn't find a violation in the handbook but it was deemed spam. i thought i was promoting Plus One and just getting my 10% for spreading the word :) | ih_473948 |
