CANBERRA--Goodman Group (GMG.AU) said Wednesday it plans to enter the North American real estate market via a $1.5 billion partnership with California-based Birtcher Development & Investments, focussing on the development of logistics and industrial facilities.
Initial equity commitments will be about $800 million, Goodman said in a statement.
Goodman is in the final stages of due diligence with a "major" capital partner, it said.
