Share Buyback

Sylvania (AIM: SLP), the platinum group metals ("PGM") producer and developer with assets in South Africa, announces that the Company has, on 11 May 2023, acquired 116,250 Ordinary Shares of $0.01 each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") from employees. The Ordinary Shares were purchased at the 30-day VWAP price of 90.4148 pence per Ordinary Share and placed into Treasury.

For the purposes of the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, following the purchase of these shares, t he Company's issued share capital is 279,000,000 Ordinary Shares. A total of 12,315,461 Ordinary Shares, including an amendment for one additional Ordinary Share correcting for a rounding error in a previous share buyback, are held in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights in Sylvania is 266,684,539 Ordinary Shares.
