"Its most likely",

Just because this universe is so precisely tuned and the whole world & nature can be described mathematically doesn't mean there is a multiverse. No evidence for it and its highly extravagant opinion to try and explain the intricate network of laws and constants for this earth and universe. My personal view is the the universe was created. Everything in nature & the cosmos speaks of design & a mind behind physical life etc. Even DNA all points to actual mind information.

This is going to rocket Monday as well maybe into the cosmos.

"It is most likely that there are innumerable Universes, which do at times impinge on each other, and a multitude of earths, and a multitude of other selves."

I frequently used this argument about 30 years ago to prove that some where and at some time, I would be with Kim Basinger.

Feel free to change the name to bring the theory up to date!

Gosh a long wait for a reply? any of you still alive? You could be nearly at A-Centauri since we opened the thread.

My view or answer, is quite stunning: IF the travellers were moving at 90% the speed of light for the full 12 years, they would think that 12 years had passed in the ship. However when they got home they would only be 14-15 months older, whereas everyone on earth would be 12 full years older. This, according to Einstein, However:
However! the latest studies on the idea of Einstein's Time-space views is changing, and reality will be much more interesting than simple curvature of space-time. It seems most likely that time should disappear from equations.
It is most likely that there are innumerable Universes, which do at times impinge on each other, and a multitude of earths, and a multitude of other selves. Some will be like us, some a little different, and some will have died!
Of course all these selves do not need to exist in the same epoch, there could be selves which existed 500 Million years ago, and other selves to exist in the future. Sadly when each self dies, it is extinguished, and becomes dust, so certain things never change!

Yes - I think SOLs share price will double (at least) in 2011, from €8.50 to €17.
It is quite likely that it will be re-rated and could well reach $20 and still be on a prospective PE of 8.

But if the occupants left identical twin siblings on earth, upon their return the occupants would be physically younger than their earth twin siblings.

Or is it older?

hmmmm....

Nope, I believe it is younger, but I can't remember the logical argument why.

Anyone dare or care to contradict?

The answer is 12 years, as these are earth years and no other time zone could therefore apply, and how long it may have seemed, when in the aircraft, is not relevant.

Dear Dr Einstein

I understand from an infallible source that the answer is 42.

If a spacecraft travels to A-Centauri in 6 years at 90% the speed of light , and returns
6 years later atrthe same speed of light to Earth what time will have elapsed for the occupants of the craft on their return after 12 earth years
is it
12 years 1 year or 1.52456745 yeara?
answer on a postcard to A Einstein.
