Update on proposed investment and further adjournment of GM

 

Quantum Exponential Group plc (AQUIS: QBIT), a company focused on investing in quantum technology, announces that further to the announcement of 15 May 2024, the Directors remain in discussion with an investor group regarding a potential substantial investment in the Company.

Whilst there can be no certainty as to the outcome of these discussions, the Directors remain confident that matters will reach a positive conclusion in the very near future and therefore propose that the adjourned General Meeting ("GM") reconvened on 14 June 2024 at 10:00 a.m., at the offices of Fladgate LLP, 16 Great Queen Street, London, WC2B 5DG United Kingdom, should be further adjourned until 10:00am on 12 July 2024 at the same venue. Consequently, the only business at the reconvened GM on 14 June 2024 will be the adjournment of the meeting.

Whilst the Board recognises the time elapsed since this initial interest from these investors, it still considers it to be in the best interest of shareholders to allow this extended time for it to reach its conclusion.
