NEW YORK, Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- In an initial public offering, the American
Stock Exchange(R) (Amex(R)) today listed the common stock of MHI Hospitality
Corporation under the ticker symbol MDH.
MHI Hospitality is organized to succeed to certain of the lodging assets and
operations of its predecessor group, which began operations in 1957, and other
affiliated entities, and to take advantage of investment opportunities in the
lodging industry with a focus on full-service hotels. MHI owns hotels located
in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States that are operated under well
known national hotel brands such as Hilton(R) and Holiday Inn(R).
