presumably has some value as a cheap backdoor listing if nothing else ?

Not really. They have cashed up most of their AIM and PLUS investments, leaving about £100k or so of investments and over £600k of cash.

Their best investment was Copperbelt Minerals plc which they bought for £4k and sold for US$260k in 2008. Always the scope to surprise I suppose as Bruce Rowan gets access to investments that others don't. Having said that, he has been very quiet of late.

Someone has finally bought some shares at 0.6p. That's at about a 1/3rd of NAV! Value should prevail here at some stage.

Well, down 40% today on a 90,000 sale for £500. That's PLUS for you! It does underline what a poor market there is in PLUS stocks at present. There is no way I would sell my shares at 0.5p when NAV exceeds 1.5p.

Interims were quite impressive, as expected.

We all knew about the Copperbelt profit which was highly impressive.

But, the fact that costs of £8k were more than offset by £10k of interest shows how leanly a PLUS company can be run, particularly without an adviser.

I will be interested to see what happens next here, now they are sitting on such a handy cash balance. I expect the next investment to be a good one!!

See that Bruce has now bought Brett Miller's shares at 1.6p. Can see Bruce starting to make some investments through Gledhow soon. It makes sense for Bruce to turn this into his PLUS investment vehicle. I await developments with interest!

A thread dedicated to the micro investment company, Gledhow Investments plc. This company is controlled by Bruce, having taken on the role of MD in April 2006. Latest reported NAV is 1.74p.

The company has had a mixed past under Ruegg boss Brett Miller who retains the Chairman slot. He is a well respected individual.

Bruce has been cashing up previous investments and playing it safe. Cash is now c£530k after cashing up on a highly profitable unquoted investment.

To me this company now looks like Starvest 5 years ago, when it was called Web Shareshop Holdings plc. Key to shareholder value will be the new investments that Bruce decides to make.
