City of London (LSE: CLIG), a leading specialist asset management group offering a range of institutional and retail products investing primarily in closed-end funds, has been notified that Mark Dwyer, a person discharging managerial responsibilities ("PDMR"), has exercised 5,500 share options at an exercise price of GBP2.55 per ordinary share of GBP0.01 each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares").

Following these transactions, Mr. Dwyer's beneficial interest is 395,390 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.8% of the Company's issued share capital.
