              New Millennium Resources NL ("NMR" or the "Company")

                                 Board Changes

NMR announces that it has appointed a new Managing Director, Mr Nik Zuks, to
replace Mr Chong-Kiat Lim who is stepping down to pursue other business
interests. Mr Lim who has been managing director of the Company since August
1999 will remain as a non-executive director on the Board.

Mr Nikolajs Zuks, 51, has been involved with the mining, exploration and
drilling industries for more than 25 years in Australia, Africa, Malaysia and
Indonesia and has a wide commercial background.

The Directors of the Company are confident that under the management of Mr Zuks,
the Company will move quickly to add value to shareholders' investments.

Mr Zuks currently holds or has held the following directorships in the last five
years:

Current - Angola Resources Pty Ltd, 1999 - Present

Past - Kingstream Steel Limited, 1992 - April 2003 ( Managing Director )

Mr Michael Yang, one of the founding members of the Company, has also resigned
his position as a non-executive director of the Company, to pursue his other
business interests.
