Distinguished Cancer Drug Developer Joins Samaritan Scientific Advisory Board

Samaritan Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (AMEX:LIV), a developer
of innovative drugs, announced today the welcoming of Dr. Pauline S.
Nys, a distinguished leader and innovator in the field of anticancer
and cardiovascular drug development, to its Scientific Advisory board.
   Dr. Nys was a Full Professor of Biotechnology at the Research
Center for Antibiotics, in Moscow, Russia. Presently, she serves as a
Scientific Advisor to a few European and US biotechnological
companies. Dr. Nys has published more than 100 articles in
international scientific journals, as well as presenting numerous
professional papers at scientific meetings. In addition, she is the
author of more than 25 patents for biologically active compound
production.
