Coe Group PLC announces that Brian Wadsworth is leaving the company as Chief
Executive Officer with immediate effect.  The Board acknowledges and thanks
Brian for the significant and valued contribution he has made to the Company
since joining in 1993 and then as Chief Executive since 1998.  The Board wishes
him every success in his future career.

The Company announced on 9 September 2003 that it was implementing a cost
reduction plan in response to trading levels.  The Board aims to complete this
restructuring during the current financial year and will then consider the
appointment of a new Chief Executive.  In the interim, Michael Sandpearl, the
current Chief Financial Officer, will take on the role of acting Chief
Executive.
