Good results today, albeit with EPS falling due to 'non-underlying' items

There are many cheap stocks at the moment BUT the combination of JTC's trading update on 25th July and the completion of the SDTC acquisition at a good price is very positive with Interim results on 12th Sep. IMO this is a very low risk quality growth stock with a PEG only just above 1. The placing to buy SDTC was at 700p and you can now buy shares at 670p. Please reread JTC's trading update on 25th July. Management has a great record and I don't think there is any reason not to trust them.
All IMO good luck all

JTC plc posted FY results for the year ended 31st December this morning reporting a “year of exceptional organic growth, inorganic consolidation and cash generation, with strong momentum carried into 2023.” Revenue was up 35.6% to £200m, PBT was up 29.3% to £35.9m, the total dividend was up +30.1% at 9.98p. The outlook is for more of the same, with strong net organic growth expected to continue in 2023 and beyond and a healthy pipeline of M&A opportunities across both Divisions. The balance sheet also strengthened with leverage reduced signficantly to 1.59x underlying EBITDA at period end. Valuation looks a little unhelpful with forward PE ratio at 21x, PS ratio over 6x. The share price also lacks some momentum and has been drifting sideways over the past couple of years. JTC is certainly a business delivering profitable growth, but is a share to monitor for the time being...

Mount Teide has started his own thread which is similar in content .

Imagine Atilla the Hun and Margaret Thatcher spawning a love child, then dressing it up in red, white and blue.

He is very entertaining if slightly living in the home counties circa. 1950's.

JTC plc posted FY numbers for the year ended 31st December 2021 this morning. Revenue growth was strong at 28.2% to £147.5m. Underlying EBITDA was up 25.0% to £48.4m from 2020: £38.7m with an underlying EBITDA margin of 32.8% down a touch from 2020: 33.6%. The dividend was up 13.6% at 7.67p per share, the balance sheet remains robust and strengthened by £144.8m gross proceeds from two equity fundraises. Medium-term guidance was maintained with net organic revenue growth expected at 8% - 10% per annum and underlying EBITDA margin of 33% - 38%. The M&A pipeline remains healthy and a disciplined approach will continue. Valuation is the main cloud on the investment horizon, forward PE ratio at 26, PS ratio at over 9 are both bottom quartile for the Investment Banking & Investment Services markets. JTC is a solid, growing and reasonably profitable financial services company, but it is a share to monitor for now....

Are there any sensible posters that look in on this thread anymore?

The Ukraine invasion is a disaster.. Europe is shown up to be run by liberal fence sitters… the war will be over before they decide a course of action. Even if they do it will be so slight that it will cause carnage. Europe is a disaster zone. Boris is not the man but he has shown that we are massively more decisive than Europe can ever be..
We should sanction the billionaires over night.. they are removing money from our monetary system and repatriating it… we are too slow…. Is this on purpose?
They are letting Abramovish go… letting him sell up… why… We are ruled by liberals not conservatives… it’s embarrassing….

Of course Sanne was taken over earlier this year, leaving CINVEN as an underbidder. JTC's US acquisition (SALI) and October placing of £79m at 718p are all positives

Let's see what Vlad is sending us next.

I think I now need to elaborate on this.
The people that are being channeled through Belarus atm are largely Syrian and Iraqi. Putin is a supporter of Assad in Syria. Assad in turn has a problem, quite a decent proportion of his population do not like him. Therefore I believe there is an element of ethnic cleansing to this. The only way an Iraqi or Syrian gets into Russia or Belarus is if the Russians or Belarusians want them in. The border guard for both Belarus and Russia is strong, they shoot people. In both countries anybody that does not look right, or fit in, will be immediately asked for ID documents by the militia. Both Russia and Belarus are police states, and the police beat people up, sometimes with no excuse whatsoever.

The reality is that Putin is playing games.
First, in Belarus there is a democracy movement which Lukashenko is attempting to put down.
Second, Putin desires a return to the soviet era borders of the russian empire, in this context this means the reintegration of the Baltic states into Russias sphere of influence, he has already achieved this with Crimea, a desirable holiday resort for russians.
Third, Kaliningrad is currently cut off from Belarus by Lithuania, Putin has been and is pushing for corridors between Kaliningrad and Belarus.

It is my view that Putins route to his objectives for the Balts is similar to the route that is currently playing out in eastern Ukraine, that is to say run a low intensity war with casualties and be a thorn in the side of the govt in Kiev.
In the case of the Balts it is to pump in lots of illegal immigrants some of whom may be economic migrants, some of whom may be highly radicalised jihadists, the object being to cause as much aggravation as possible to europe.
Also I believe he will, and is, trying to provoke incidents between the Border guards on both side of the border.
We may see little green men starting to appear (russian irregulars).
I would also expect political aggitation to begin in cities in the balts with large ethnic russian communities ie Riga, Daugavapils, etc.
