Invests in early stage companies. However looks a cut above similar ones that have been around the last few years (think ECI, Just2Clicks, NewMedia Spark etc). The main criteria appears to be to invest in companies that have CEOs/management with a proven track record and that wont require considerable capital expenditure. A simple strategy that reduces risk and eliminates most of the dross that, for example, comprised a major part of New Media Spark's portfolio.

4 companies are profitable. Another 4 have been profitable for at least 1 month and
several others will be profitable imminently. There is no major funding requirement for any of the portfolio companies.

Brilliant that the company have produced a detailed breakdown of each company. In fact looking through the list the majority appear to be either profitable or heading towards profitability in the near future. The value of the portfolio is expected to increase as the companies mature.

Costs have been reduced to 100K per month. However this appears to be mostly covered by income from such as management fee income and interest on cash. Operating cashburn is therefore minimal.

Current price covered by cash. 100p of investments in for free.
