25/4/2024 20:18 | Sector etfs, tend to turn at some stage. But get the company selection wrong in the bad times, and it may stay floored whenever the sector starts to perform in markets again Averaging down entities is bad news. Etfs different You can even get yielding sector etfs and hedge currency and inflation these days within them | institutional investments

25/4/2024 19:58 | Summary One of very few companies that actually produces public value. But that's far different from investor value unfortunately But for those stuck in it, I'm sure it will get an RR blag some time. Probably 2026 though. Yield getting cut won't be a bad thing...it will make the blag year much better on share price Far better than yield | institutional investments
25/4/2024 19:11 | BT and Openreach should have no concerns about Altnets. There are currently around 100 of them. The vast majority are on the brink of financial ruin, and will either go bust this year or be swallowed up by BT and the mega Alnets. BT's lead is unstoppable, and take up (not just premises passed) is healthy. The dangers are a bloated workforce, pension deficit, a total of £15bn Capex on full fibre rollout, and debt. Consolidation is on the cards, IMV - a bid from Deutsche is most likely, followed by the sell off of Openreach to create a true national infrastructure supported by the remaining mega players. No more overbuild, less or no regulation, far less Capex, a considerably reduced workforce, and happy shareholders. Everyone's a winner. Roll on the bid. | wappingfirst
25/4/2024 18:52 | UBS has restated its 'sell' recommendation for shares in BT Group PLC citing concerns over its subsidiary Openreach, which manages the United Kingdom's digital network infrastructure. | institutional investments
25/4/2024 18:43 | smurfysending something to them takes forever to get through their system, best thing to do is frame any issue as a complaint, then it will get dealt with quickly and if you push you will get compensation... | stansmith1
25/4/2024 17:35 | Recent full fibre order went to plan, much lower latency and faster speeds for free. 2 issues. Order won't close as equipment l sent hasn't been received according to their website. Luckily l kept my proof of postage. Order remains open so l can't upgrade my speeds. So BT losing lolly with issues that shouldn't exist ! Now l need to call BT. | smurfy2001
