24/4/2024 07:26 | Mr Market really does not want BT to escape 110p .... Why? What game are the billionaires playing? We all know BT should really be valued at least at £2 a share.. | netcurtains
24/4/2024 06:45 | On another thread (Banks) Our FTSE100 has done +400 points in 5 years or +5% averaging +1% a year.. Compare that to the SNP500, which has done +25% in 2023, and +100% in 5 years.. We are due some growth, we may be on a high, but in real terms it still has a great deal of catching up to do.. Some very undervalued, robust businesses at some great discounts, and interest rates have yet to come back at all.. | netcurtains
24/4/2024 06:33 | glorious RR £5 soon | thanatos abysss
24/4/2024 06:11 | Good morning UK Well.. Morning | institutional investments
24/4/2024 04:45 | Yes, a bid is more likely to come from Deutsche Telekom; either in partnership with Altice or using Altic's large shareholding. The stage will then be set for a realignment of the telecoms industry in the UK. Openreach will be sold off, to create a new, truly independent national communications infrastructure, supported by the other large infrastructure builders (with shareholdings based on existing/intended fibre investments). Hey presto, no more wasteful overbuild, CAPEX reduced for all participants, and far less requirement for regulation, if any. BT/EE will e free to chart its own course. Without seismic change, coupled with an immediate reduction in the bloated workforce, BT will continue to flounder like a beached whale. Watch out for the cries from the 'Keep BT British' brigade (i.e. the unions) when the bid does come in. Don't be fooled by these greedy layabouts. They only want to keep their jobs for longer, while shareholders continue to suffer. Only my opinion, of course. GLA. | wappingfirst |
