Service Provides Top Brand Offers Through Downloadable Application to Users Who

CHICAGO, May 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- weather.com, the nation's premier
Web site for weather information, has partnered with CoolSavings, Inc.
(OTC:CSAV) (BULLETIN BOARD: CSAV) , to provide visitors the choice to opt in
for samples, trial offers, travel brochures, financial service information and
free newsletters while downloading its new Desktop Weather 4.0 application. A
part of the CoolSavings Marketing Network, CoolSavings' syndication and
distribution network for targeted offers, the service benefits weather.com by
providing a new source of revenue from its popular desktop application. The
service benefits the site's advertisers by providing an additional, targeted
method to reach site visitors. Specifically, advertisers can now target their
offers based on consumers' individual registration information, which they
provide as part of the download process.

weather.com, which is operated by The Weather Channel, is the first site to
provide CoolSavings' lead generation advertiser offers during the download of a
desktop application. To date, other CoolSavings Marketing Network partners have
only delivered these offers during their site registration process or through
contextual placements throughout their site. The popular Desktop Weather
application is currently in use by millions of consumers and the company is
aggressively marketing to expand this user base exponentially in 2005.
