SAN FRANCISCO, April 30 /PRNewswire/ -- iShares notified authorized participants and other market participants yesterday that it would exercise its right to reject create orders submitted on April 29, 2009, for the iShares MSCI Taiwan Index Fund (ticker: EWT) for the protection of fund shareholders. Orders for redemptions of the fund will continue to be accepted, subject to being in proper form as more fully described in the fund's registration statement. The notification was limited to creation orders for this fund only and only for this one business day. The fund expects to resume operations tomorrow as described in the fund's registration statement.
