The George and Melodie Rogers Foundation has donated $1 million to the Thomas E. Starzl
Transplantation Institute to support clinical research and further
advance the field of liver transplantation.

the quality of life for transplant recipients and their

The George and Melodie Rogers Foundation is a charitable
organization established to continue the legacy of George A. Rogers, the founder of PrideStaff, an

After two years of searching for a program offering living donor
transplants in the United States,
George Rogers and his nephew,
Casey Rogers, became part of a
four-person living donor paired exchange at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, a
life-saving procedure that gave Rogers more time with his
family.
"The University of Pittsburgh saved
my husband's life," said Melodie
Rogers. "George was low on the national transplant list and
likely wouldn't have survived without a living donor transplant.
I'm grateful for the doctors who gave us another year and a half
together, and I hope our $1 million
donation can help the Starzl Transplantation Institute explore new
options for other transplant patients."
The George and Melodie Rogers Foundation's generous donation is

The Thomas E. Starzl Transplantation Institute, dedicated to
