SOYO Introduces New VoIP Solutions For Telecom Carriers and
Business Markets
New Single and Dual Mode Gateways Enable Businesses to Reduce
Telecommunications Costs
ONTARIO, Calif., Feb. 24 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- SOYO(R) Group, Inc., (OTC:SOYO)
(BULLETIN BOARD: SOYO) , a leading provider of computer motherboards, computer
peripheral devices, and consumer electronics, today announced immediate
availability of the Z-Connect 4-Port Single and Dual Mode Gateways, delivering
turnkey Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solutions, enabling businesses to
reduce telecommunications costs.
"Our Z-Connect VoIP Gateway solutions, designed for telecom carriers, VoIP
wholesale dealers, and small and medium businesses, maximize the investments
businesses have already made in their telecommunications infrastructure and
data communications networks, as well as reduce ongoing long distance and
international calling expenses. These new products are the perfect compliment
to our existing line of Z-Connect consumer products and services," said Mr.
Ming Chok, president and CEO of SOYO Group, Inc.
Ideal for telecom carriers, VoIP wholesale dealers, and small and medium
businesses, the Dual Mode Gateway (Model N400DM) features an intelligent
switching function that automatically determines which network -- Internet
Protocol (IP) (Internet Protocol) or Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN)
-- to use for making calls at the lowest rate, and also manages incoming calls
from both networks via deployment of the Direct Inward Dial (DID) function.
Easily connecting to the PBX, the N400DM is compatible with a variety of
networks, broadband access devices and system configurations. Up to four
analog phones or fax lines can be plugged into the Single Mode Gateway (Model
N400S) for instant broadband capability.
"Users have the option of designating a separate DID telephone number for each
line for receiving calls from any IP or PSTN telephone, and can also determine
the order in which inbound calls are received," explained Mr. Chok. The
Z-Connect Gateways were designed to seamlessly integrate into the business
environment. "Existing phones, phone lines, and data lines converge into a
powerful business tool, all managed transparently by our gateways," continued
Mr. Chok. "Users simply plug their phone or fax lines into the gateway, or
connect the gateway directly to the PBX. In keeping with our desire to help
business owners gain maximum value from their existing infrastructure, the PBX
does not have to be reconfigured, no expensive additional equipment is
required, and familiar dialing patterns are not altered."
SOYO will be exhibiting the entire line of Z-Connect VoIP Products in booth
#605 at the Internet Telephony (IT) Conference and Expo in Miami, Florida at
the Miami Hyatt, February 22-25, 2005. Additionally, the complete list of
features, advantages, and benefits are available at the following URL:
