Existing Customer Expands Relationship With P-Com
CAMPBELL, Calif., June 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- P-Com, Inc. (OTC:PCOM)
(BULLETIN BOARD: PCOM) , a worldwide provider of wireless telecom products and
services, today announced a $250,000 order for its Tel-Link point-to-point
microwave radio links for deployment in Indonesia.
P-Com's technology will be deployed throughout the country as part of a larger
modernization program for one of Indonesia's major transportation providers.
P-Com's radios, which are being installed over the next few months, will
replace an inventory of outdated radios to deliver greater reliability,
state-of-the art features and additional capabilities.
For P-Com, the order announced today is the largest to date from the project,
which began more than a year ago. P-Com expects to receive additional orders
related to the project that may exceed several million dollars.
"P-Com's Tel-Link radios will facilitate a wide range of vital, real-time
communications for a key component of the country's transportation
infrastructure," said P-Com's Randy Carl, Senior Vice President, Worldwide
Sales. "P-Com's Tel-Link radios have a long reputation for outstanding
performance and are a perfect alternative to building expensive fiber- and
cable-based solutions for broadband communications."
P-Com's Tel-Link radios deliver high-capacity voice, data, Internet and video
connectivity from low data rates through high data rates in the same unit.
