POSTING OF DOCUMENTS

Further to the announcement dated 10 October 2003 regarding the recommended
offer to be made by Close Brothers Corporate Finance Limited on behalf of
Microgen plc ("Microgen") for M.M.T. Computing plc ("M.M.T."), the board of
Microgen announces that documents, comprising a shareholder circular convening
an extraordinary general meeting of Microgen on 5 November 2003 to approve the
acquisition, and listing particulars containing financial information relating
to Microgen and M.M.T., have been posted to Microgen shareholders.

In addition, M.M.T. shareholders have been sent an offer document, containing
details of the offer, the accompanying form of acceptance and the listing
particulars containing financial information relating to Microgen and M.M.T..
The first closing date of the offer is 3 November 2003.

The circular and listing particulars will shortly be available for inspection
at the UKLA's Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at: Financial
Services Authority, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS (tel.
no. 020 7676 1000) during normal business hours on any weekday (Saturdays,
Sundays and public holidays excepted) while the offer remains open for
acceptance. The circular and listing particulars, together with the offer
document, are also available for inspection at the offices of Clyde & Co,
situated at: 51 Eastcheap, London EC3M 1JP and also at the registered office of
Microgen: 11 Park Street, Windsor, Berkshire SL4 1LU, during normal business
hours on any weekday (Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays excepted) while
the offer remains open for acceptance.
