relocation and expansion opportunities."
"Frisco is one of the most
desirable locations in Texas and
in the United States for business
relocation and expansion opportunities," said Shanna Keaveny, Frisco EDC Board Chair. "We've
created an ecosystem that attracts major corporations, e-sports,
entrepreneurial start-ups and world-class sports. Plus, with a
highly educated and diverse citizen population, we can attract a
variety of industries because companies know they can find the
right talent in Frisco."
In 2024, 26 projects and four real estate projects were
spearheaded or supported by the Frisco EDC which led to more than
4,000 new and retained jobs, more than $1.5
billion in private capital investment, more than 260,000
square feet leased, and 1.8 million square feet of new commercial
space. Frisco has one of the highest office leasing activities
in the region, and it's Class A office vacancy rate is 6 percent
lower than the regional average of 24 percent according
to CoStar.
"Just in this past year alone, we leased the square foot
equivalent of three Empire State Buildings," said Jason Ford, Frisco EDC President. "As we enter
year four of our five-year plan, we expect to maintain great
