DALLAS, Jan. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Evolution Resources, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: EVLN) (the "Company"), an advanced biofuels production company focused on the production of cellulosic ethanol and biodiesel using the latest in modern processes and technologies, today announced that it has executed a consulting services agreement with Dr. Hasan Jameel, a professor of Wood and Paper Science at North Carolina State University ("NCSU"). Dr. Jameel is a well-respected industry veteran that joins Evolution Resources with over 30 years of teaching, research and technical expertise in pulp and paper sciences and the biomass/energy conversion field, which has earned him numerous accolades and professional recognitions. Dr. Jameel has pioneered many novel concepts for pulping and bleaching to decrease production costs and process environmental impacts. Recently, he has been involved in developing technologies for the conversion of biomass to transportation fuels. Dr. Jameel received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1975, and his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University in 1980. In 1979 he joined International Paper, where he stayed until becoming a professor at NCSU in 1987. He was later honored as a NCSU Outstanding Teacher (both in 1990 and 2005). He is presently a member of the Board of Directors for Packaging Corporation of America. Dr. Jameel is also a Technical Fellow of the Pulp and Paper Industry, the International Academy of Wood Science and a member of American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He holds four patents, and has authored two books and more than 100 papers. He was also instrumental in development efforts for the Wood Ethanol Research Consortium ("WERC"), which was formed to provide a technical and economic analysis of repurposing pulp and paper mills for the production of ethanol from cellulosic sources. Evolution Resources is a member of the WERC. Under the terms of the consulting services agreement, Evolution Resources will pay a monthly fee to Dr. Jameel in exchange for his technical advice and assistance as the Company further develops its cellulosic ethanol projects.
