       Hot Tuna (International) PLC appoints Creative Director for Europe



Hot Tuna (International) PLC (AIM: HTT) has appointed Oscar Verden as Creative
Director for Europe.  Oscar's principal role will be to co-ordinate the design
of the Hot Tuna product range throughout Europe by presenting collections to the
Company's licensees and to retailers; he will be responsible for overseeing the
high quality production by licensees and their partners, and ensuring that the
brand is appropriately positioned to maximise its image and growth.



Oscar's first project, which commences immediately, is to work on the collection
for autumn/winter 2006.  He will be leading a group of designers and graphic
artists as well as working alongside the head designer for Hot Tuna in the USA.



Oscar is the founder and Managing Director of Map Print Ltd ("Map"), whose
principal brands are MAP and MAP London.  The MAP brands are leading UK street
wear brands and are known throughout the world for humorous graphics and cutting
edge printing techniques.  Oscar has been at the forefront of Map's creative
direction.  Over the last few years Oscar has also been supporting the creation
of other new brands in the UK and Europe, most notably Noodoll, Gang and
Embargo.



Chairman of Hot Tuna, Ranjit Murugason, commented, "We are very excited to have

his experience and previous successes in the casual youth wear market, we
believe his influence will be of great impact to us as we target Generation Y in

the licensor, manager, marketer and owner of the Hot Tuna brand of surf
lifestyle apparel and accessories.  The Company acquired the brand in June 2005
