Randgold Resources Ltd (RRS.LN), an African focused gold mining and exploration company, said Monday it sold a further 5 million common shares in Volta Resources Inc (VLTAF) at a price of C$1.50 per common share on Aug. 16.
MAIN FACTS:
-The total proceeds payable to Randgold were C$7.5 million; The cash proceeds received will be used for general corporate purposes.
-After this transaction, Randgold Resources will continue to hold 11 million shares in Volta.
