25/7/2013 09:55 | If the Zattikka board do work a miracle and square away a deal with the loan note holders, this is were their focus needs to be!!.........GL S "Mobile games now account for 7.5 percent of the country's gaming industry, with sales amounting to 2.53 billion yuan ($412 million) in the first half, according to the China Gaming Industry Report released on Wednesday." 24/7/2013 07:01 | duxy786 - Having looked through the admission document in some detail in recent days, the cluster of companies bought by Zattikka certainly have the technical clout in the sector, you could also argue they had a fairly solid trading record, however what does appear to be the achilles heal is the price paid for these businesses and in particular Hattrick, the price paid IMHO should have had more stringent clauses in relation to the individual trading performance of each business, thus protecting the parent company from any lack of performance still being rewarded with receiving full price paid, IMHO Hattrick do appear to be the spoilers at the moment and the loan note holders are effectively sticking two fingers up at the board and saying that's the price you offered us and thats the price we want!, one would imagine if the parent does fold under the weight of the loan notes, the separate entities will continue along quite merrily and the shareholders will be left nursing their losses, I would hope though that there is still a lot of benefit in the group staying as a whole and continuing with their original strategy, the other companies within the group would appear to have acknowledged they are willing to do so, so perhaps one solution would be to carve of Hattrick and re-fund the remainder and possibly link to another acquisition, along with raising new funds from existing shareholders, I for one would be happy to consider such a proposal, rather than seeing my investment wiped out!,question is for me - do the board have the appetite or indeed the time to pull this together?,one would certainly hope so!, as always all in my very humble opinion and dyor etc, etc........GL S | swizz
24/7/2013 01:12 | Looking at the trading last 2 days, the volumes are too low for a such a Big drop, 6p to 2p. Yes the news isn't very welcoming but looking at this from a different perspective, I don't see them throwing in the towel just yet. Long term, it takes time for game co. to move up past the startup stages, but as we in the tech industry know, good game developers are hard to come by and ask a premium so no doubt someone thinks there is still some meat on the bone here. There is a lot on stake here not just 'another tech startup' but developers like Hatrick have become a known brand in mobile games so there is a good chance of getting snapped up, albeit, us PI's getting the shorter straw as it is and will go for tuppence. | duxy786
23/7/2013 14:48 | What to make of the 437,174 @2.50p circa £10k?, quite a bit to throw at a gamble!, also current offer 2.05p.........GL S | swizz

23/7/2013 07:32 | For all that do not know, Howard is the same poster as Casper on lse bb. He ramps the hell out of AVP on there and then deramps and follows posters around on here. Split personality it seems. He was ramping JLP at over 10p then 8p then 7p and now it's down at 6p. Good investment Howard. Thought it was going up??? | reks
23/7/2013 01:21 | Quite a sad world we live in when people come out for a slinging match and to basque at their own glory for not buying something which has taken a hit and laugh at those who have.I have a position here and have taken a serious hit here. One that maybe difficult to recover from, in the short term at least, but you can't have them all...it's been oversold today no doubt, but i don't see it recovering unless one of the bigger players in the US gobble them up, although I doubt it will be for more than 5p now!Real shame that the UK, despite all the efforts, can't produce a decent IT start-up and a successful IPO. | duxy786
22/7/2013 22:50 | Another sub-investment grade outfit unfit to be listed, almost a throwback to the dot com era. The Alternative Investment Market continues to demonstrate it is aptly named. | bam bam rubble
22/7/2013 22:39 | Rather ironic isn't it, that the BOD not even a month ago point to the weaker than anticipated performance of Hattrick, as a key factor in the material impact on trading and the very same Hattrick are close to calling in the loan note, that will put the company under, do I sense a bit of brinkmanship and corporate mud slinging, perhaps they should be mindful of their staff and shareholders!....... July 9th 2013........ "The primary variations in trading from management's previous expectations are the delay to the anticipated release of Arena of Heroes to allow for App Store support (released 27 June), the need to update certain elements of the content of Legacy of a Thousand Suns (initially launched in April 2013) and, most significantly in respect to the outlook, the lack of anticipated growth in the subscriber base in Hattrick. The net result is reduced cash flows from operations which will restrict the Group's ability to invest in growth in the second half. As a result the board is now undertaking a full strategic review of its businesses, operations and cost structure. As part of this review the board is entering into negotiations with certain holders of the loan notes issued by the Group on admission to AIM with a view to extinguishing a substantial proportion of the Group's liabilities, including an amount of approximately GBP0.275m loan note interest now due. The Group had cash or cash equivalents of approximately $950k at 30 June 2013. As stated in the preliminary results published on 6 June 2013, the ability of the Group to continue as a going concern is dependent on further implementing its business plans, continuing access to its on-demand working capital loan facility (which is now fully drawn) and the continuing support of its creditors, including the loan note holders. The Group is evaluating all strategic options." | swizz
