10/10/2007 14:30 | It looks like we're back to square 1 re the MHRA. Just how much info can they give away to enable a company to say things are 'progressing well'? Nobbygnome seemed quite positive re Abasol and the extra patients recruited. What puzzles me more as 'handycam' mentioned, is the total lack of activity in YRK shares - good or bad. It's like the company doesn't exist!! In which case, if Abasol got the thumbs down, who'd care? | wetdream
10/10/2007 12:32 | I took the trading update as a negative statement on Abasol. If you read the wording carefully it is evasive and does not committ to a timeframe at all - talks about "progressing" rather than "progressing well". Of course, its progressing! The fact that it is not progressing well implies further delay to me unless they are going for a new approach of under-promise and over-deliver. | topvest
10/10/2007 11:24 | Call predominately focussed on benefits of acquiring product (with huge potential, milestone payment of £2.5m on reaching sales levels of £15m, timeframe for this expected to be 2010-2011)and distribution platform (offering opportunity to benefit from self marketing, gaining higher gross margins, as an alternative to outlicensing) Although saying good relationship with MHRA, no timeline given on Abasol MHRA approval, apart from stating they are still within the average timescale for getting aproval.Could be interpreted as being either evasive or MHRA being reluctant to commit. | 2thebar
10/10/2007 10:27 | Erinacious is a fraud. | handycam
10/10/2007 10:18 | those who can develop organic growth (because they can) those who can't acquire look at Erinacious... Where is Abasol Terry????? Slap | slapdash
09/10/2007 12:12 | No-one trades this, unlike AZM or BGC or even MDX. And that's a big part of the problem: no flipping market. | handycam
09/10/2007 09:02 | All quiet in the markets. Does explain though why the share price seemed to be settling down at 120p... | wetdream
09/10/2007 08:16 | Yes, does look a very good deal for York. It will nice for them to have some sales as well. Disappointing that further delay on Abasol and no indication of how long this is likely to take. Maybe they have learnt their lesson re. stating likely timetables and then missing them! Anyone calling in at 8.30? If so, can they report back please? | topvest
09/10/2007 08:08 | welcome back Nobby! We missed you! | nuclear chris
09/10/2007 07:27 | I am just going to break my silence once to comment on this acquisition. TS has pulled off a master stroke here. We now have a company superbly positioned to generate growing revenues once Abafungin is approved. There is a sales force in the UK and France to sell the product straight away and distribution in other countries. What a superb complementary fit and Merlin took shares at 130p for the company!!!!! Plus I can't resist to point out the comment in the statement about the new clinical trials which York have done with Abafungin. Conclusive proof that I was right and Bioshark was WRONG. I hope he now apologises for his categoric incorrect statements. York is poised for rapid growth IMHO. This is a company transforming deal. Now back to my self imposed silence..... Regards and good luck to all Nobby | nobbygnome
08/10/2007 21:01 | LOL - yes, doesn't time fly! The lack of news is worrying. What is surprising though is that the share price has generally stood it's ground. That is quite impressive! The large investors and MMs don't seem concerned. I suppose that bodes well. Fingers crossed!! | topvest
08/10/2007 11:01 | Last year's results were announced 24/11 - so we may have 6 weeks to wait. In the interim, might be useful to change the header to...2008? Amazing how quickly 3 years pass. | wetdream
08/10/2007 08:16 | Because we are past the year-end! Results are normally released reasonably quickly by York and so, news or no news, we will get an update soon. | topvest
06/10/2007 17:30 | Yet another week and no news...zzzzz..must be getting close now to some form of RNS. | topvest
04/10/2007 16:47 | I think Christopher Pearce is more the share promoter than Terrence. | handycam
04/10/2007 10:25 | this could come through.. but in my very humble opinion you have to be careful with a promoter like Sadler... sometimes the more bullish and ecstatic they are the more worried you should be.... I think this is the second, or is it the third?, time they have missed their approval deadline and it has been delayed by a year or so... glad I am not in biting my nails for this promoter to pull through.. slap | slapdash
02/10/2007 18:39 | Vernalis showing how tough it is even to receive an 'approvable' letter. | handycam
29/9/2007 11:02 | let's hope they have a Plan B. | wetdream
28/9/2007 11:33 | lol. I agree. We've always had very regular updates until now. I suppose they can't have had bad news, otherwise they would have announced. Just delay so far I expect. Not much we can do but wait and wait..zzzzzzzzzzzzzz | topvest
28/9/2007 09:42 | It's like the whole company's gone into some cryogenic state... | wetdream
28/9/2007 08:28 | Presumably it's a case of they are still waiting. They don't want to issue any RNS until the big one. All very frustrating. Can't go on much longer without an update though...one things clear..no profit this year! | topvest
28/9/2007 08:24 | Apart from a change of broker, not a word from the company in 5 months. Year end today. | wetdream
27/9/2007 22:39 | no not really just the time its taking really mid 2007 is now late 2007 etc just concerns me a little | m4p
25/9/2007 08:55 | Nobbygnome you have not posted for a few weeks either, I do miss your informative posts. Are you still holding or have you moved on? | kiki14p |
