Further to my last post; OTC stocks can be pretty illiquid, so it sometimes helps to be able to deal over the phone.Something to bear mind; With Charles Schwab being USA based, you can trade both over the phone and online during the full NYSE opening hours. With TDW, their phone service is restricted to LSE hours. When LSE is closed, its online service only.

EarnestOr you could just wait for them to get listed on an exchange, which iWeb will likely cover.

Xen is looking increasingly grim. Pointless hanging on in here with SO many other stocks taking off on AIM and money being made hand over fist.

FML looks about to take off...overdue financial & op update due, & ex CEO forecasting mkt cap to increase by factor of 8 by end of next year!

Buy FML (big vols already today)..big update due today or tomorrow

Pilkersa. It is very easy to trade USA OTC stocks in UK. I use:HTTP://www.schwab.co.uk/public/schwab-uk-enYou could open an account with them. Alternatively, TD Waterhouse do an international service that includes OTC stocks.

" GSL is a Nevada company whose shares are currently available for quotation on the OTCBB and OTCQB. It is the intention that, following the completion of the Acquisition, GSL shall seek a quotation of its shares on an Exchange at the earliest possible opportunity."

pilkersa - I should think they are legally obliged to do so. But I agree, there will inevitably be some who get no further than the 5.95 figure and panic.

This is a really poorly worded rns. They should never have mentioned the 5.95 figure as this is only applicable at today's price and may not be the value at the time of aim cancellation.

corrientes - as is being discussed on ANOTHER BOARD, the 5.95p figure is only used to determine the cost of the deal (i.e. the cost of a back door listing in the US/access to US capital/a chance to participate in the biotech boom over there) to XEN.
I'd urge people not to judge today's info too rashly. As the RNS says:

"Any decision regarding the Scheme should be made only on the basis of information referred to in the Scheme Document and Equivalent Document which are intended to be dispatched as soon as practicable to Xenetic Shareholders, persons with information rights and, for information only, to participants in the Xenetic share incentive schemes and other option holders and warrant holders."

Let's see what the Scheme Document says, should be out to shareholders very soon.

Ok here we go: Offer recommended, to be followed by delisting from AIM and progressing the US listing. Not surprised about the discounted offer, but as I've said before the payoff is the US listing and access to cheaper financing and a more liquid market for shares in Biotech companies.Expect to see short termers jumping ship in the next couple of days, which'll give a top-up opportunity for those with vision and patience.

Well, XEN will shortly not be British any longer. In any case, I'd rather have American institutional investors than be in Charles's portfolio.

Be nice to see Charles buy a few shares in XEN

''The heir to the throne was touring the Serum Institute of India founded in 1966 Dr Cyrus Poonawalla with the aim of manufacturing life-saving vaccines which were in short supply in the country at the time and imported at high prices.

It has now established itself as a leading bio-technology and pharmaceutical company that works with a number of UK firms.

Adar Poonawalla, Serum's executive director of operations and son of the company's billionaire founder, said the staff Charles saw had to be scrupulously clean before they entered the production lab.

He added that they were committed to driving down the cost of vital inoculations so that they "cost less than a cup of tea," and said: "We are on the verge of completely eradicating measles as a disease."

Sir Brian Richards, chairman of the British company Xenetic Biosciences which has been working with Serum to develop the next generation of vaccines and immunisations, told Charles about their collaboration.

He said afterwards: "When you come here it's like coming to a university, such is the intellectual power that they have."

In today's pink, reference to US biotechs going through a real boom (not so much the social media stocks like Tweitter etc))where very speculative stocks are in great demand. The sector set for the best rise since 2000.

Let's hope a bit of this rubs off here 'when' XEN lists. If it doesn't,it must surely mean that its not just in the UK that their projects are regarded as not being worth a candle. Fingers crossed.

We had an RNS about his sales last week, that usually signals that the person has finished selling. Just tidying up in preparation for our move, I imagine.

Next phase in the process to take place on Monday at 10.30, according to the courts daily list. Hopefully this will then allow the terms of the offer to be announced. Last chance saloon for top-ups

"To facilitate the Scheme, and to enable Xenetic to achieve its aim of securing an Offer during 2013, Xenetic will shortly file a Part 8 Claim Form with the High Court in London. This filing is a preliminary administrative step to start the Court formalities that form part of the Scheme process, with the intention of completing the Scheme as soon as reasonably practicable once terms have been finalised with GSL. There can be no guarantee that any Offer or other transaction will be made by GSL."

Another step in the right direction with today's RNS, not that it is likely to make much difference what with the ongoing MM manoeuvering ahead of our exit from the UK and entry to the US.

heyho2 - agreed, looks like MMs straightening their books in preparation for XEN delisting and moving to the OTC market in the US. I am confident that the RTO will take place at a better level than this, and that once trading in the US we will re-rate.
Our shell can be found and added on ADVFN by searching for GAIF on the OTCBB market.

As I was saying Earnest, until its a finalised deal then the MMs will play on PIs fears and insecurities and shake a few shares loose from weak holders. When this gets listed in the US a re-rating is inevitable, just look at GWP as an example. That's when the pay off happens but if you're not in when the reverse acquisition is finalised you'll miss out in the big price move. All IMO DYOR, etc, etc

The deal is already struck if XEN are not talking to anyone else. It's just a question of at what price.
