Interesting to see a heavyweight activist investor like Odey increase their stake at 80p plus to 8%. Presumably they've expecting to make some money out of their £10m+ investment?

If they can encourage other shareholder to vote with them, then Xchanging could soon be in play.

To me it appears UBS bought a shed load of stock (circa 15% stake) at the recent lows on behalf of several of its hedge fund clients.

These guys are probably interested because - without a permanent CEO at the helm and consolidation due across the sector - then there every chance of encouraging the Board to progress a sale and bank a quick profit.

Frankly I cannot see how the recent dismal results could have boosted the price
