As a direct consequence of these delays we anticipate Xaar 3D would require further investment in 2021 (cash decreased in 2020 by GBP7.0m to GBP2.1m), significantly more than original plans anticipated.

As a result of the delays in the programme and the further investment anticipated, the Xaar Board has considered all options for the future financing and ownership structure of Xaar 3D, and accordingly has held detailed discussions to sell the remaining stake in Xaar 3D. Terms are still to be finalised and may potentially differ to those of the Call Option originally agreed in 2019. The Directors have assessed that the disposal is highly probable and therefore Xaar 3D is classified as a discontinued operation.

Now that's the knockout filth

Results as expected with a lot of optimistic words but still loosing money. The outlook wording is a let down. No forcast and still expecting a loss in the year ahead it seems. Only medium term return to profit whatever that means. They burnt 6m of cash in the last 6 months and have 18m net cash left. Lets hope they dont continue at that rate and burn through 12m in the year ahead. I think we have had a great run in the share price so I cant complain.
Net assets down by 9m in the last 6 months.

No posts here since 23rd March. Shows how loved XAR are at present. Hopefully some news soon will kick her into action and there will be something positive to discuss.

Thanks farmergeorge. However I’ve sold my holding as the market is tending to mark down shares when results are no better than in line ( as I suspect these will be and based on the caution expressed in their last statement). If they are continuing to make progress I will hopefully buy back in. If results are stellar and price shoots up then I’ll have made the wrong call !

farmers; HpWhere have you seen 25th March given as next statement date ? There doesn’t seem to be any date on the investors section of their website.

Think all I did bbd was tell the truth. But people don’t like that. CR has been selling but he’s never going to admit it. Bet he was still calling this a buy at over 170p whilst selling. The hypocrisy of it all. I’ve got no view on the value of XAR. Bought at 119p on holding news and sold at 131p. Too soon in fact as it kept going, although it’s now dropped back again. Just a trade. As long as CR has stock to sell he will tell you to buy, even if he does you over. That’s all people need to know.

Here here

Gap to 80p to be filled on chart and “continued covid delays” in statement will mean it goes there , imho

😢
