I must apologise Dr B, I took out a subscription to SCSW about 5 months ago... |
Like many U.K. mid stocks under short attack from the ALGO’s, just clearing the weak holders away before the big boys enter the arena, many bargains coming up, I will definitely add some more done the same with SAGA and some more equities that have corrected for no obvious reason.Don’t buy for short term profit expectations you might be disappointed set horizon for later into 2022 for attractive returns imo dyor as usual. |
Not sure what the worst tip scsw has given but this has been a total stinker. They haven't had a great year. If you bought all their main tips from the last 5 months you'd have lost money.
Next update here will be crucial to see if their new printhead has some traction. Market seems to have its doubts. |
I want to see John Mills buying some here, given his confidence in the future on the latest results webinar. |
Very interesting Gargoyle2. |
#XAR Panmure note "The strengthened balance sheet provides ample room to maintain high investment rates in new product development..Whilst no change to our TP of 231p, we believe that risks remain on the upside given the compounding effect of current initiatives." |

Accumulate * Accumulate * Accumulate |
Mini dip buyers, wants much higher, magnet to 200p, if we can take out very recent highs imo |
Going well again today, bullish if we can take out recent highs. |
Gymratt, could do but may take time, had a good run up last time.👍ӿ96;🤞 |
Well timed NY Boy. 'Bowl'--> 250 looks on. |
Added 162.5, a bit better than I had originally expected. |
Some short term profit taking at 180, nice mini pull back, looking to add around 165p area, if the markets allow me! |
Into the 170’s, a good recovery play, after a healthy correction dyor as usual |
I’m sure we will see some Director buys soon, unless they are in a closed period? |
Would be good to see them buying some shares though! |
Agreed, but we don't need fireworks, just good steady progress. I have a lot of faith in the new management restoring the fortunes of Xaar; highly focused. |
That buy off 150’s support area is starting to produce some green shoots, long way to go for long term recovery imo |
Dipped a toe back in this morning |
When the US is involved, I wouldn't time the markets buddy and absolutely invest but i would keep around 60% of your powder dry presently...
Unlikely Xaar will continue to have much further weakness especially below the 150p mark unless US wider markets are in serious corrective mood but I continue to build my position here! |
It’s lost 30%. As we all know buying shares is spotting value plus timing. Whilst this may turn out to be the former, it’s terrible on the latter.
If you apply stop losses as many do (including me) then this has already caused a crystallised loss.
I’m sitting on a large amount of cash. The ftse250 has come down quite a lot already, I’m waiting for that to stabilise before buying anything. |
