Not convinced myself niggle, perhaps more wishful thinking it could go that low; resisting the urge to buy in yet though

I don’t think it will go that low fwiw. 25 was the support which it bounced off. Expect some wiggles but essentially this is silver’s time.

Between 6-8 would be a good dip your toe back in point here.

What a rise, this is what a leveraged play can do if you play it short term and get your timing right.

it was a mistake to sell - but !

I feel this is not the final rocet (US election)

cash went into a junior miner which offers even more leverage imho. good grades in the ground are the best leverage and it is real - not a paper

so hey ho - we see each other at the next correction

If the GSR keeps closing it will do, because gold is going one way right now, silver playing catch up.

Just have to remember there will be dips and this isn’t a long term hold in general.

Absolutely, it wasn’t that far off in March.

Similar to oil futures in some ways? Is there even a remote possibility this could turn negative? H

No problem Chip, I’ve been in and out of this constantly for years, not always posting, someone on another website told me about the contango years ago and it seemed to make sense at the time.

B.t.w I look at your thread on miners often, bar AAZ I have no U.K listed miners but it’s an excellent thread and your research very thorough.

ODR,

The article is very useful, thank you Riggerbeautz!

It is 2x leveraged but is additionally complicated by US$/GB£ Forex rates (at Buy and Sell points) for those of us who take our returns in Sterling.

I thought it worth highlighting on the other thread as it is a relatively 'quick and dirty' way to gain exposure to possible upside in the Silver price given the large fall in PoS during March. I have not really concerned myself with the exact movements in LSIL over time. I just see it as a short-term 'Staircase' stock.

ODR the whole point of LSIL is to play Silver on “speed”, you can’t hang onto this on too many down or static days. If Silver is generally trending up you do very well, if Silver really motors you do exceptionally well, the reverse of course applies.

LSIL is akin to a high stakes casino play, you have to calculate the risk based on your expectations for silver and then roll the dice, let it ride etc.

thanks very much Rigger

It says should not be held for more than a few weeks ... does that mean its not as simple as if you held LSIL from $20 during the last silver bull run to $50, you would got the actual share price profit in LSIL to $160.

I'm thinking of it like a normal stock but maybe I shouldn't ... and the article says the same

Just bought SSLN, happy with that , I get this is a little leveraged but a tad too speculative for me maybe due to contango , got stuffed with Oil etf once due to that so done do leveraged etf's buy good luck

Well having dipped in and out frequently, I strongly believe there’s an element of contango here, which is fine unless you stay in too long when it stutters!

This is the best explanation I can find for you and saves me the trouble :)
