Greetings all. U.S. trading here, yes?, esp indices; good. I'm an old hand from 3-5 years ago, back from travels and trading again. I used to post regularly on the old DAY thread but although I see it still exists zombie-like, it is histoire. I am not nor will I be an every-5-minutes in yer face poster but I do want to select one or two appropriate threads. I browsed the threads here last week and made a first mistake in posting a comment on CA's NRKI thread and prompted got "moderated"! I thought moderation was to keep the likes of the old Griss at bay, not slapping everyone with an alternative opinion! If so, then advfn has let its pendulum swing from too tolerant anarchy of 3 years ago to intolerant Brown Shirts today. SHOP thread seems fine albeit a bit bolshi. Point of comment to thread owner, with ref to any other posters here who remember the Brer Rabbit from before: I'm not going to be wasting my time here, am I??

FWIW, my 11200 short from yesterday got hit this afternoon - I currently stand short the Dow from there. Short term target:11090 (sub 11100, anyway.)

The reason I am still holding my long is because a number of very influential sectors are leading this rally. Financials (following today's MasterCard debut), technology (following ebay and Yahoo partnership), and oil and commodities. No one can exclude the possibility of a complete collapse from these levels but the risks are to the upside IMHO. At least until tomorrow's PCE deflator is released.

The personal income data (especially the core PCE deflator) which will be released tomorrow will be important IMHO. 11200 is very important now. If it fails then the bullish case will be weakened significantly. On the other hand, if it is broken decisively then 11350 will be a breeze.
