    Board Changes




    The Board of Woolworths Group plc announces today that Trevor Bish-Jones, will be standing down as Chief Executive of the Company.
Trevor has agreed to continue in his post for the next three months to enable a search for his successor to be undertaken. This will include
internal and external candidates.

    Richard North, Chairman of Woolworths, said:

    "Trevor has been with Woolworths for six years. In that time he has been a tireless Chief Executive and has made a very significant
contribution to the Group.  It has been agreed between the Board and Trevor that this is an appropriate time to seek new leadership for the
business.   The search for his successor is underway but in the meantime we are pleased that he has agreed to stay on for the next three
months to ensure continuity.

    "The Board would like to express its thanks to Trevor for all that he has contributed to the business."
