02/7/2008 09:13 | no takeover will have happen, share price based upon assets is around £5. No chance of the company fold as others have suggested and while i think the bottom is not there yet, it is the time to buy! | random jargon

01/7/2008 19:22 | Profiting, I do expect worse to come and who knows how much but I do believe that the US will recover first and when that happens I expect WOS will also recover quickly. It was the same after 9/11 and it recovered very quickly once it started. I have no idea how low it will go this time but I will be in for some once it turns. | ![]() warranty
30/6/2008 11:54 | It may well be but if its key markets are contracting and there is oversupply then there is only one outcome. Today's news on the housing front only further confirms that we have still to see the worst. | ![]() profiting
29/6/2008 22:13 | This is still a very high quality company but the worst isn't over yet I believe. However, it will recover at some point and whilst I don't intend to catch the falling knife I will be back when it shows signs of receovery, which I believe will be very fast. | ![]() warranty
29/6/2008 00:08 | I've been following this one for a while and traded both short and long at various levels very occaisionally. Purely on technicals not fundamentals mainly because I don't believe much of the stuff that gets written from the CEOs or the media. However, I did peek at the fundamentals and what would worry me most was their strategy of accelerating the pace of acquisitions during the peak of the market in 2006/2007 meaning they were purchasing other companies at the peak of their value. This is just insane. This could be another Ashtead unless it gets rescued or market conditions improve pretty fast. | easytimes
28/6/2008 21:58 | Given market conditions here and in U.S. this is only going one way and will only pick up again once housing markets pick up.Dangerous time to get near breaking bank covenants if as suggested given current credit crunch.Aimho and dyor. | ![]() profiting

26/6/2008 08:09 | June 26 (Bloomberg) -- Sales of U.S. previously owned houses probably rose in May from a record low as depressed prices lured some buyers into the market, economists said before a report today. Resales rose 1.2 percent to a 4.95 million annual rate, according to the median forecast of 72 economists surveyed by Bloomberg News ahead of a report by the National Association of Realtors. April's sales pace of 4.89 million matched the lowest level since records began in 1999. | ![]() beaudelaire
