24/7/2015 08:43 | Harold oh that poor bunny, I'm with Mrs L. I shall bring her another live fluffy critter when I come up! | gismo
24/7/2015 00:33 | And as its Tour de France time, I recently saw the Colombian team's new uniform | ivanburgess
24/7/2015 00:31 | He He. Sorry H, When I saw it, I couldn't resist. :) | ivanburgess
23/7/2015 20:13 | Cav's lost his lead out team so he might have to go it alone. | futhark
23/7/2015 18:21 | Still kicking it Fut - use it or lose it. I will never understand women. A few weeks ago, rabbits were the scourge of the planet as they were eating Mrs L's plants. I shot one today, skinned and gutted it ready for the pot. Mrs L is now into rabbit rights and I am a bunny murderer. Can't win. She will enjoy the stew when her temper abates - so next millennium then. Two days in the mountains to go and still Sky and Froome are looking good. Can Cav do it on the Champs Élysée | harold larwood
23/7/2015 12:38 | Harold think of your age and take it easy! ;-) | futhark
23/7/2015 08:12 | Hi Gis, welcome back now perhaps Greece can sort itself out now you have stopped flooding the market with euros. Overcast here this morning. Sky looking good in the TdeF that was a nasty take out for G Thomas I hope his head didn't damage the telegraph pole, I see he has lost his white rimmed sunglasses. | futhark
22/7/2015 21:25 | Thanks Harold, oh I love it! Too much sun ain't good. I shall keep away from the scales!! | gismo
22/7/2015 18:50 | Welcome back to cold and wet England Gis. Another good day for Froome in the TdF. | harold larwood
21/7/2015 16:37 | Harold you know what they say about age, you mature like a fine wine, hopefully. Stuck in the airport in boiling temperatures and now we have a delay, great. Someone has just landed in their Lear jet, that could have been me if this had taken off. Oh well I'll have to stick to a 737 :-( | gismo
20/7/2015 23:58 | Gis/Fut, thanks for the birthday wishes but I passed the 60 ark a few years ago. I was helping a friend. Been out on my bike as well recently after a 2 year lay off. The hills of North Devon are somewhat challenging for an elderly fella like me. Rained all day here so, hopefully, will be able to get out in the garden tomorrow. Mrs L is seething as all of the tomato plants are showing signs of blight and the birds have pinched all of the gooseberries. Geraint Thomas nearly came a cropper today in the TdF but luckily he is Welsh and only hit his head on the lamp post when he came off so is uninjured. What a ride he is having this year. | harold larwood
20/7/2015 18:02 | Hi Gismo still dealing with it but OK thanks two of my daughters have been round sorting mums stuff out for the charity shops they have been great they say it will help in the long run better to do it before the funeral than after. | wilburylover1
20/7/2015 17:23 | Gis, not much cycling next week the exercise bike is terrible in the mountains. | futhark
20/7/2015 12:11 | Hi Fut sounds like you are recovering faster now, that's good but you must slow down on that bike of yours you can't keep up with them in France you will set light to the carpet!Last day on the beach today. Leave the hotel tomorrow afternoon back in Cardiff about 9.30 then going to Warwickshire for a couple of nights to see a friend near Stratford upon Avon. | gismo
20/7/2015 12:05 | Happy birthday Harold! Overcast here. I liked the bit about Froome having a secret motor on his bike, not a lot of places to hide it, don't they know they have a drug test as soon as the race ends? Hi Gis getting better had a good day yesterday bit overdid it and paying for it today, when are you bake? | futhark
20/7/2015 09:53 | Oh no I couldn't live here Harold, I would be bored to tears. My mind is racing now eager to get back. Lots to do. A move on the cards. So it was your birthday? Happy belated wishes! and I'm not shouting due to your sore head! | gismo
20/7/2015 09:42 | Hi Wilbury, hope things are improving slightly. Still thinking of you at this time. Kindest regards Gis | gismo
20/7/2015 06:59 | Morning, anyone out there? Still boiling here about 100 f now. I forget what a cloud looks like. So I wonder what the next step is in this disastrous situation. What morons eh? How's you Fut? Have s good day all. Gis | gismo
15/7/2015 10:14 | Morning, in the north now, not very populated. Day off from the sun today, it's too fierce. Harold I think people just want something back now so they just gave in. Unless we have the money to fight them in the High Court then I suppose there's not a massive amount we can do except what you have suggested. | gismo
15/7/2015 09:09 | Hi Gis, no I have a lot of pain in my leg the day after so I am going to give it a break for a few days, I don't think it's going to get much better than it is now, just trying to improve my walking with the aid of some crutches. Overcast first thing but brightening up now. Looking forward to today's TdF to see if Froome can do it again. | futhark
15/7/2015 09:05 | Fut, brilliant ride by Froome only soured by the people claiming that he is doping. Sky have been impeccable in their stance so its churlish. Gis, 99.99% of those who voted but the minorities did not get the full picture. | harold larwood |
