for gods sake this has less chance of going bust than rbs.it will be substantially more than double within six months,very.all industry contacts say concerns have gone and levels of new buiness very high.at agm chairman said he is not selling at anything like these levels.pointed to underlying earnings and smiled.

It looks as though prospective buyers will, understandably, need facts more than just encouraging words from Mr Grimond before they're tempted to risk any kind of serious investment in WDNY. As they say 'once bitten .... '

aggregating the results of subs adding say 10% ,strong trading statement,deducting much reduced group costs,very little interest and 2008 looks like between 750 and 900k post tax.p/e between 4and 5.dividend again beteen 1 and 1.5p well covered .price good between 25 and 35.look forward to acquisition to inc earnings and headline profits.could be share buyback as well .

With the AGM tomorrow, I wonder what the chairman will say in his statement ? Having already upset the City boys three years ago when WDNY's share price collapsed so suddenly, he has to get it right this time or he may as say "au revoir" now.

some posters have been forecasting imminent closure for almost 12 months.with the latest published acounts now available will they now desist.widney has a long way to go but has really made great progress since jan.the business is in good shape and depending on whether the team has the stomach to rebuild is ready to go again.maybe with a new team?.
