17/1/2018 18:23 | Tilly, Walters is a site per subscription. So posting the comment here would not be honest for all subscribers! The gist was, Walters thinks that WDC is risky, but could well be on the way to something much larger. May I ask if you hold your shares in a cfd account or stock account? Cheers, MM | moreminer

05/1/2018 18:22 | It seems that they are not alone in the market as you would think from their blurb. If you Google for: "Stem Cell Storage", CellPlan doesn't show up at all whereas cells4life seems to have a prominent web positioning. They too seem to offer the core offerings of WDC including a comprehensive insurance package.I think WDC certainly have an interesting proposition and are well positioned to develop strongly but I think we need to see some hard evidence of growth in subscriber numbers before the market will truly buy in to the story. | longshanks

21/12/2017 19:25 | Yes mm, fantastic announcement of the human and institutional infrastructure to take Widecells to the next level. WG Partners is a very well respected house in the sector, suggest you visit their website and look at their transactions. It gives Widecells the muscle to raise significant amounts of money and do serious deals. In my mind, the main obstacle to that now is the still tiny market cap of the stock. It is too small to raise good sums of money, especially with the constraints of the LSE Standard listing rules, and too small also to attract institutional investors. The tight liquidity doesn't help either. I was just looking at another company in the WG stable, Angle, who I have seen and have a sharp promoter. Angle has tech risk and a lower revenue prognosis than Widecells, yet it has a market cap of £64m. In contrast, Widcells has a cap of just £9m. But getting the cap from £9m to, say, £30m is not easy because you need to find lots of small buyers on the secondary market. There is a big job to be done now by the new brokers and, ideally, the new directors to go out get their mates to buy the stock. Only then can the company get big enough to take advantage of the firepower they have brought in. In other words, it needs to reach a critical mass. On what it has, the company certainly looks a good buy anyway. The caliber of the directors who have agreed to join would suggest that. My congrats to the company. 2018 should be a very good year for them, and the stock may well re-rate by a multiple. | nohead
