Vaccines no good eh ??? Excess winter mortality, the difference between the average number of deaths over the winter and the rest of the year, has decreased significantly since the 1950s. This is thanks to improvements in healthcare, home insulation and the introduction of the influenza vaccination programme

If I saw there was 1400 deaths a day ,why on earth would I visit a place with 'sticky tables' and chance contracting the virus for a pint .The Vaccine is the game changer as long as it works .

All I've said is that if cases and deaths start to rise possibly in the Autumn,Boris won't need to close things down .People will Choose either to visit crowded places or not .I personally and many more may Choose not to .It really depends how bad the situation was .If it was anything like this year, he wouldn't have had to have lockdown, Spoons would have been like the Chapel of rest .

Its true that flu cases and deaths have come way down thanks to vaccines .Thats why the vast majority should be taking it .

Just a small comment by one young person on the news .She said I can't imagine going to the pub and mingling with everyone. Peoples confidence in getting back to crowded places will take time ,for a lot of people .Lack of vaccinations won't help that .Just saying

Gozzie- Sorry to hear about your Dad, that's awful.

Yeah not much you can do unfortunately, I think most families have probably had the similar kind of concerns. As you say your life is in their hands and you can only hope that they do the right thing.

In hospital id go in and tablets would be on the floor .He was too weak with heart failure and knocked them off as they hadn't made sure he had them.Then they sent him home as he wanted it, but the night he died couldn't get any pain relief .Nothing had been put in place and the doc that looked after him picked records up and said Oh I didn't know his heart was working at 15 percent. This doc now has an award because his stepson was killed in the Manchester bomb .He was useless.

I wasn't happy the way dad died either .Not much you can do ,your life is in their hands .Its better than 100 years ago, thats all we can say .

Gozzie- Medical negligence is rife unfortunately and their first instinct is to cover it up.

It is a very slight risk but Covid is a far bigger risk .Two people at least I knew died .I'm sure when I get back to the pubs I will find many more have died .Its been 6 months since I went in one .All tablets have risks. I would rather take them .Mum told me my uncle died at 51 because the negligent hospital didn't give him an anti blood clotting jab.He died of a blood clot having come through an operation fine. All they said was lessons have been learnt .Have they

Gozzie- The official figures are totally bogus but even taking them at face value the Infection Fatality Rate is still only 0.3.

The chances of dying from covid is slim.

Seriously though you simply don't have a clue what the vaccinations might do to you?

I can say that because the Government and Pharmaceutical Companies don't even know.

Doesn't that even bother you in the slightest?

My chances of being ill and hospitalised with Covid are far higher. Trump and Boris both went in with it .Chances of another wave and not catching it are slim .

Gozzie- You won't need to shoot yourself with the amount of experimental toxins you'll be getting pumped into you over the next few years.

They don't convince them they are ill .They are.Perhaps you need a bad dose of it to wake you up .How old are you 21 .
