Slag Spoons all you like, Tim Martin won't care! Every Spoons I see is packed out, so he must be doing something right! Cheap booze, free coffee refills etc. I love eating out, and we also regularly visit Spoons. No, it's not fine dining by any means, but we have never had a bad meal in Spoons.

He thinks he does, you have to wait half an hour to be served at the bar, hence the low prices to placate customers. It is better to take a table and order from the app I admit, but everyday low prices only compensates for the mediocre fayre. Wetherspoons has never compensated for the old fashioned boozer, it provides a service to people who wish for a budget price, but is that everything, depends where you live, but they are perfect establishments for alchofrolics who wish to drink in peace!

Mr Tim Martin has achieved success by employing the traditional business model of satisfying consumer demand through providing a wide range of reasonably priced products supported by good service. This will always be a winning formula as it builds loyalty and ensures retention of custom. Any business can do the same but too many are focused on the latest short term trends or attracting new business at the expense of their existing customer base.

If you want a 4oz pre-grilled, it ends up as a 3oz, chips you can count on one hand, basically a kids portion, that is why they give you a free pint in the price!

Tim, my wife says the steak at 'Spoons' on the 'Steak Night' is very good.

I suggest you try it when a branch near you opens again, when ever that will be!

Judging by the queues round the car park here they are doing ok also they will be getting a fair chunk of money that would have been spent in spoons and the like.I also think sbry will do well out of this argos is now the only place you can buy many things without home delivery.

Make Communist China pay for Wetherspoons loss of profits

UK owes China in the region of £267billion (figure for 2018)

Make China pay! Boris told to seize property and halt debt repayment over COVID-19 damages

Communist CHINA should be made to pay reparations for covering up the outbreak of coronavirus, but given they are unlikely to do so if the Government pursue this through the courts then the UK could seize assets and halt repayment of the sovereign debt that Britain owes Beijing, an expert has claimed.
