Where I was , this was offered at 8.35 to include an alcoholic drink.


My post is to point out that if you buy a standard quinoa salad off the menu any day ... it has the above PLUS Avacado ( a half of one usually) minus the pulled chicken for 6.80 and still includes the drink.

One can add pulled chicken as an extra for 1.55p = 8.35

Which means on special offer days you do buy your special deal 5p CHEAPER BUT with no Avocado like on the normal menu .

Avacado as an extra cost 75p .... so in effect you are 70p worse off .... come on TIM

My neighbour a business owner, he says he relies on cheap Eastern European Labour to keep his multimillionaire lifestyle including annual trips to Barbados, virgin islands, Maldives, and Marbella. Wetherspoons are closing 16 outlets, putting them up for sale across the UK.

The full list includes pubs in Warrington, Cheshire, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, and Burnley, Lancashire.

The pubs are open to having bids placed on them and will continue running as usual.

If they are sold it is likely the outlets will change names, menus and prices - ceasing to run under the Wetherspoons brand.

Wetherspoon spokesman Eddie Gershon said: “Wetherspoon has almost 900 pubs across the UK and ROI.

“On occasion, having reviewed its pub estate, it puts some pubs up for sale.

“This is a commercial decision. All of the pubs will remain trading as Wetherspoon pubs until/unless they are sold.”

The comapny recently blamed a fall in profits on increasing staff wages.

Tim Martin, the founder and chairman of Wetherspoons, has been a vocal Brexit campaigner, and recenlty called Theresa May a “loser”. He told Express.co.uk: “It’s not a very nice way to put it but I think she is a loser.

“She campaigned for Remain and she lost that, she called the election and she lost her majority and now, with all this customs union talk, it looks like she’s chucked that one in as well.

“We need a Gary Lineker, somebody who can put the ball in the back of the net and she isn’t it.
