whackford,

Many thanks for that.

I misread my brokers letter and You are absolutely right.

They mixed up the order which made things confusing but I now see it's clear that (for my broker) if I don't inform them before January 11th that I want the cash end of January I'll have to wait until May.

thanks again,

rgds bomfin

Bomfin and others, Please note that some brokers have, what seems to me, a strange "default option" on the 50p cashback:
TD Waterhouse and Squaregain are making the DEFERRED date the default option, not the 31 Jan date.

Dessie been very strong yesterday and today(wonder why?). Along with Sterling steadying up a bit can't be bad for Westmount.

What are you two like, loaded up to the rafters in WTE and VPC, next you'll be telling me you have a healthy sprinkling of DGO and JKX, I seem to be loaded up on the latter with a healthy sprinkling of WTE with VPC growing daily, bye cash pile!

I'll mind get my top up here before the cheque clears CWA :>))))

Agreed Bomfin, downside looks fairly negligible as long as you take a reasonably medium term view on it. Eclipse could easily be the one to give this stock some oomph:-) If the price stays the same or even drops I might recycle my cashback into Westmount at the end of January/early February.

5.5 million Des shares (Could do with some more news)

Tee hee. You'll be telling us you believe in Santa Claus next ;-)

So the consolidation has happened and the dust is settling.

Default option will apply if broker not notified. So I'll get the cash at end of January without taking any further action.

What have we got for the near 8 million market cap at current 105p buy price.

5.5 million Des shares (Could do with some more news)

30 million Sey shares (Chinguetti start up on the horizon)

244,000 Eclipse shares (Shouldn't float cheaper than last fundraising of £7.50/share. Often companies float a lot higher than their last private fundraising price)

Up to £1.5 million cash. Call it £1 million to be safe.

Downside looks pretty skinny with potential upside from Eclipse too enticing for me to resist.

IMHO DYOR

Don't suppose any brokers have consolidated the shares yet, mine haven't, still can't buy any online, might give them a call later and see if any luck.

Taking 10k shares, yesterday with a mid-price of £1.035 you could say they were worth around £10,350

Today you have £5000 on its way to you and 5000 shares at mid £1.055 = £10275

Does that sound about right, seems wrong but can't get my head round it, I was also out at office lunch and had the odd gallon of beer so struggling :>(
