08/10/2009 10:37 | I have sent an email to the company asking when we are likely to hear some news re current production levels. I will let you all know if I receive a reply. | pauladrew
01/10/2009 10:02 | Where the hell is this increased mining RNS ? News must be imminent now . | b1lly bob
25/9/2009 13:40 | Stromboli welcome to the world of JT companies. Management live in a timewarp, or possibly an alternate universe where time runs at a different rate to ours. Check out the PRE thread, if memory serves we had 8 weeks to repair damage from a hurricane that still wasn't fixed by the time Katrina arrived 12 months later. 8 weeks turned into a couple of years, so expect WAD'S rns by about the time you retire. Good luck with the FSA by the way, they really don't give a rats about anything to do with AIM. | jungle jim
25/9/2009 12:55 | it's not a major big deal. share price is working its way down and round the bigger daily cloud bottom that's coming up. especially with no news. it's still getting adx/dmi into position. it's not going to triple bag o/nite. weekly cloud thins out come november, but is flat topped, so any major rush may make the MMs get to 10p. alternatively, MMs may just wait till start of next year when weekly cloud really thins out and is sooooo much easier to penetrate. long term hold i guess! | moosh2
25/9/2009 11:05 | STROMBOL - why dont you just ring WAD and ask them why they are late -- it will only take you 2 mins | fathert
25/9/2009 10:46 | Don't get your hopes up. The FSA have only bought themselves a new set of dentures! | devil20
25/9/2009 10:44 | As I have previousy pointed out, this type of seperation plant should have been commissioned within 10 days of arriving on site. So the delay could be due to lack of water supply, and this would also effect operation of already installed small plant. An update regarding the situation on site is now overdue, as the previous ridiculous 8 weeks for commissioning is overdue and it is managements obligation to inform ALL investers of any change in their overdue deadline, previously given. If this is not forthcoming within the next few days I will inform the FSA of my dissatisfaction regarding this matter. | stromboli
25/9/2009 10:31 | you could probably buy at the july placing price now of 3 p. | kemorkid
25/9/2009 10:21 | As I put back in post 2505, I think they're mainly waiting for developements at AFD. If AFD is to be sold, JT/JC then will concentrate here. Until then there won't be much interest here. Just my reading of it. I've tucked a few away to be in on the ground floor. | devil20
25/9/2009 10:21 | stromboli, your acting like a spoilt child that has threw its toys out of the pram and is happy cos it hit its mummy over the head. | father o toole
25/9/2009 10:18 | paula, dont get your knickers in a twist, now, dont you realise that you can deal inside the spread, or even put in an order at a certain price and see if they can fill it. | father o toole
25/9/2009 10:01 | They are shooting us down the seperation plant, we will end up as inert spoil. | stromboli
24/9/2009 15:48 | BUY BUY BUY | pre wad png
23/9/2009 19:31 | moosh there still appears to be a bit of an overhang, i think it would be best to clear it first, then we can move upwards. | father o toole
23/9/2009 16:41 | bid dropping detracts sellers. MMs just shaking out weak holders who see a drop and panic. most will have bought above 3.5p so majority selling will be at a loss at that price. why sell!? we've waited 2 months for bomboko, might as well wait for them to tell us they've upscaled production! | moosh2
23/9/2009 14:16 | Last time the MMs dropped it to 2.75 bid, a RNS was made the following day which caused the share price to spike | pauladrew
23/9/2009 13:37 | ffs what now - why the stupid spread = killed the market | pauladrew
21/9/2009 17:41 | oh i get it now. 8 weeks from that date was last week, which just happened to be when MMs tried to make a market. and obviously it failed without the RNS! :/ | moosh2
21/9/2009 15:58 | Good points. Whatever happens they should still update us on the new mining capacity soon. And WAD is at a silly price right now, we should see some good action soon imo. | rmart
21/9/2009 15:12 | rmart. If you look at the last 10 or so posts on AFD it might give an idea whats going on here. It looks to me as though the directors are waiting to be bought out by De Beers. De Beers closed many of their mines beginning of the year due to lack of demand for diamonds. Now they've re-opened them as demand picks up. They also want to concentrate their mines in the southern part of the continent. Which is why I think WAD is concentrated in the north western part. JC and JT are the main men in both AFD and WAD. If AFD is sold no doubt they'll concentrate totally on WAD. Just my reading of the situation. | devil20
21/9/2009 11:51 | From 21st July WAD is now expanding production at the Bomboko mine from 3,500 to 35,000 tonnes per month and based on current production expects a grade of 7cpht. The expanded production plant is currently being commissioned and the higher production rate is expected to be in place within eight weeks. Eight weeks takes us to 15th September. We should have news of production anytime now and if it is 10 times more than previous we should finally start to see the share price move to a much higher level. | rmart
20/9/2009 22:53 | are we ready for another week of MM games?!!?!? share price currently testing the lower daily cloud support at 3.625p (again!!). | moosh2 |
