The EGM to approve the ending of the Oslo listing is today (Tuesday). Just a formality, it should go through.

The significant shareholders list now shows three solid holders with around 9% each, Axa, Vitol and Sustainable Capital (the latter declared in the most recent RNS). Then there's Fidelity with just under 4%.

When all the trading is in London I expect WRL to get some attention, and that could bring buying pressure. But possibly the real reason for the change of domicile is to allow shares to be placed to institutional investors without pre-emption? In Norway I believe placements are usually offered as Rights Offers to all shareholders. Maybe by law. That's why it's worth mentioning, otherwise why not stick with Oslo?

Katharine Roe is quoted on a bb saying that they plan to give operational and corporate updates including another cash payment update later in the week.

Bottom fishing or catching a falling knife in an unpopular sector? The Investors Chronicle has had an unhappy record in the junior oil sector of late.Thalassa(oil exploration equipment)one of their 2014 favourites, has fallen from around 3 quid to 50p currently. Now,having tipped Wentworth at around 50p,the stock has neared halved. These things happen but frankly, the IC should wake up and smell the coffee, there's little point in trying to finesse the bottom by buying into a perennial exploration disappointment like Wentworth in a bombed out sector.Just as well they have the pipeline, the offshore and now the onshore drilling have flopped in all but name.Actually,it's quite an achievement in such a prestigious area not to strike lucky!!

Wentworth Resources is now on the cusp of becoming a 'full cycle' exploration and production (E&P) firm, reckons City broker Investec.

Analyst Brian Gallagher notes that with the signing of a gas sales agreement earlier this year, the group offers the investor material cash flows and high-impact exploration.

Good buying today, and noted on proactive investors over the weekend.I am sure that this is one to get in now before the herd arrive. We have 4-6 months til the big drill and the herd will arrive. Just like TRP a few months ago, a lot of similarities here.Don't forget, this share was priced at 60 times higher back in its peak on the Oslo stock exchange. Been trading for not as long on AIM of course.Buy and hold. Consider selling done pre-drill with all the hype that will be around.

Subject: A well deserved share price increase.
On January 3rd our listed business member Wentworth Resources (ticker WRL in London AIM and Oslo Stock Exchange) wrote the following status update on Xtrainvestor:
"We are pleased to be a part of this community and we thank Lars and his team for building and managing the best investor/shareholder forum that I have ever been a part of or come across."
A few weeks later their share price is up close to 70%. We would like to believe that there is a connection between professional IR, praising Xtrainvestor and that share price increase ;)
We could add that in our stock picking competition for 2013 30% of all contestants picked Wentworth as one of their top 3.
Wentworth has been using Xtrainvestor as an investor relations tool for some time - and it seems to pay off. We believe more listed companies will follow their example in 2013.
Best regards
The Xtrainvestor team
