The Wensum Company plc 
("Wensum" or the "Company") 
 
 
Suspension 
 
 
 
 
The Company no longer expects to be able to publish its audited accounts for the 
year ended 31 December 2008 by 30 June 2009 and, accordingly, trading in its 
shares on AIM has been suspended with effect from 4.00 p.m. today. 
 
 
Further to the announcement made by the Company on 5 June 2009, the board, 
together with its professional advisers, continues to explore various ways of 
addressing the Company's need to secure additional funds in order to meet its 
short term working capital requirements and, in parallel, is now considering the 
possible sale of all or part of the Company's business and assets. 
 
 
The Company will make a further announcement in due course.
