11/6/2018 17:47 | .. I guess the same as anyone else might | cordwainer
11/6/2018 14:41 | @ cordwainer - gosh! All those jobs, at all levels. Either they're expanding like crazy or nobody wants to work for them. Most of the jobs are only a few days old, so that's positive, but the fact that some are a month or more old begs questions. As the poster, what do you think? | jonwig
11/6/2018 14:07 | Another view ... hxxps://www.indeed.c | cordwainer
11/6/2018 11:56 | It's starting to move now. Very good, thorough article in SCSW. | rivaldo
11/6/2018 10:37 | One of the main write ups in SCSW. Not done a great deal for the price. | petes5
11/6/2018 08:30 | Decent buying this morning ? | basem1
07/6/2018 12:15 | A mention for WJG in this article about the huge demand for BTR schemes: | rivaldo
07/6/2018 09:33 | Ex Div today, not had much affect as yet ? | basem1
06/6/2018 22:56 | The planning application for the Uxbridge BTR scheme was submitted to Hillingdon council a couple of weeks ago and advertised in the local press today. The uploaded documents are here: It's interesting to see that the application has been submitted jointly by Watkin Jones and the existing owners of the site, Canada Life Ltd. A financial viability assessment has been prepared and submitted, although it doesn't seem to be online (it's probably been withheld on grounds of commercial sensitivity). A couple of comments from the planning statement: "Notwithstanding the challenging viability of the proposed scheme, a commitment will be made to delivering an element of affordable units as part of the scheme." "The proposals are immediately deliverable as a whole should permission be granted for this development in an expedient manner. There is a commitment by the Watkin Jones Group for delivering this development to enable completion for Spring 2021. Once completed, the development will be managed by Five Nine Living, the operational/ management arm of the Watkin Jones Group." | bestace
06/6/2018 16:39 | Interesting - a "thumbs down" for not getting a reply to an email! Ex dividend tomorrow 7th. | skinny
05/6/2018 12:28 | It would appear that we are not to be enlightened! | skinny
04/6/2018 14:37 | looking forward to the further reply to the aforementioned "obvious question" of posts 1536 / 1540. | cordwainer
04/6/2018 14:25 | of course but it shouldnt be a blank cheque or gift that isnt earned. thats just taking cash from sgareholders pockets | shaker44
04/6/2018 14:17 | maybe these share 'options' had something to do with attracting a new CEO..? | cordwainer
04/6/2018 12:55 | Well I've asked the obvious question..... | skinny
04/6/2018 12:45 | I dont think that is the norm, except msybe with Aim where anything goes when I had an ltip it certainly wasnt secret. EC?? | shaker44
04/6/2018 12:34 | shaker - from my experience, this concealment is the norm. It's hard to shake off what EC says! The event of a takeover - this is, I think dealt with in the AGM notice. And so is a lot else, just not the bit we'd like to know! | jonwig
04/6/2018 12:28 | well of course the furthet question is the detail of those metrics! and is there a clause invalidating the option in the event of takeover, not driven by performance? institutions should be asking this too. the bod cant hide behind commercial sensitivity! | shaker44
04/6/2018 12:11 | Its obviously a secret :-) Thank you very much for your email. The sentence explains that that shares granted to Mr Byrom this morning will only be exercisable upon the following terms: Mr Byrom continues to be employed by Watkin Jones Watkin Jones successfully achieves certain financial performance metrics (Total Shareholder Return and Earning Per Share) over the next three years If you have any further questions then please do not hesitate to get in contact. | skinny
04/6/2018 10:36 | We can but hope! :-) | skinny
04/6/2018 10:33 | A cynic might suggest that they tend to be secret because the conditions are often embarrassingly easy to meet. | effortless cool
04/6/2018 10:26 | Skinny - good luck with that. Maybe these conditions tend to be secret, as they can contain commercially sensitive information. | jonwig |
