24/5/2006 16:09 | Interesting - that RNS is not shown on InvestEgate. Remember Caulcutt owns 8.93% himself, so that makes 43.57%. In addition there are other direct and indirect interests by other directors which amount to about 8.8%. The company is certainly deliverable by the directors and the 3 institutions. Presumably its now all about price. | stemis
24/5/2006 16:02 | SteMis, SVG are up to 11.44% according to this: So the three of them now own 34.64%! | rivaldo
24/5/2006 10:18 | SteMiS.. Either they are fools or were looking at a bid down the line, not many shares left in public hands. (Less than 20%) Im topping up. | simon14

22/5/2006 16:02 | I trawled this out re 23/03/06 the new directors` share options, So were not the only ones feeling dissapointed. Nick Scott has a beneficial interest in 96,761 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') representing 0.2% per cent of the issued share capital of the Company. In addition, Nick Scott has the following options over Ordinary Shares; Options No. Option Scheme Exercise Price Exercise Period 50,250 Unapproved 192p 27 February 2007 - 26 February 2011 20,000 Unapproved 178.5p 1 April 2007 - 31 March 2011 25,000 Unapproved 144p 31 March 2008 - 30 March 2012 | simon14
20/5/2006 10:47 | SteMiS, Its a shame that WMK ,dont seem able to tap into the growing Business class market, which is where BA`s profits growth was principally derived. And I am still questioning why WMK are able to forecast year end figures and 07 figures when they cant even forecast month end ones correctly. They have let us (their owners) down, badly. | simon14
19/5/2006 18:01 | no air france_ klm yes ba made more profit thay did this by cut ing costs on company,,s like wmk gate the naff food company and geting they workers to work harder and do less overtime the cost of oil will hit home very soon as pax stop flying its not the end of may this is going to fall a long way this is the start profit warnings come in three s | made1686
19/5/2006 16:43 | Is it a U.S. airline Made? V | vassily
19/5/2006 16:36 | Even if WMK are 15% off the market forecast of 13.25p, that still leaves them on a P/E of 10.0 for this year and 7.9 for next (even allowing for 15% slippage in 2007). The current market capitalisation is also probably only a small, if any, premium to likely net asset value at 30.6.06. Its now 7 weeks since they first revealed they were in discussions. There is obviously more than one party interested. If they can't get 150p+ they ain't trying!! | stemis
19/5/2006 16:35 | Sadly guys, I don't like the way this seems to be heading - I've baled out today. Good luck to all lingering holders. | spaceparallax
19/5/2006 16:08 | Hey come on, Made hasn't done too bad with his prediction. And anyway no one has to listen to him, but WMK management needs to listened to. V | vassily
19/5/2006 15:51 | ps i do not want to buy now | made1686
19/5/2006 10:26 | no it went down to 109p that is only nine %%%%%%% out if this goes up from here . I told you i work for a airline we are have ing a hard time with high oil and cuting cost by get ing companys to do things ,,,, cheap e,,r,,And they will be less profit this year for wmk if it get s to a pound in may i will be A lucky man . But i do not want to buy now as evil is regreting backing WMK and breaking his rule on buying in too a company run by a bearded man the bearded man i talk to at M,I, was a very worried man and i think he know ,s they was a lot of bad news to come and i will not be buying wmk if it fall to 60p i may change my mind and i was right too WAS ,,,i Not ,,, lower profits and if you think you can shut me up you are wrong Nome PHONE HOME | made1686
19/5/2006 09:37 | Made , You have indeed been forecasting a fall to £1 in May for at least 3 months now , however the top price during that time was about 128 and the bottom price about 112 (average120) WMK is now 112.5,, a 7 % fall, you are as yet 12.5% short of target. | simon14

18/5/2006 22:10 | Me again, these year end Dec 06 forecasts are total bull, the management were unaware of these alleged shortfalls or potential shortfalls in revenues only 35 business days ago on 31 March, what makes them so confident that they can predict revenues till the end of the year, let alone forecasting a better 2007!!. WMK report and accounts reassures us, its owners, that there are regular meetings with departments to ensure everything is going to plan. I hope the managers in charge of these departments have been fired for lack of correct and up to date reporting procedure and then the senior management can turn around and fire themselves. | simon14
18/5/2006 19:21 | bought back in today after the news ' if a deal happens in the near future and a offer for the company is around at least 125/150 i will be very happy ' take a look at the 3 year graph of the companys share price' its always been a roller coaster ride to say the very least' | sarscars
18/5/2006 16:27 | Oh yes, this is Boll...s and I want out. | simon14
18/5/2006 16:23 | I hate trying to second guess whats going on but, if a bidder was to be interested, they would be likely to seek guidance from the company of their forecasts for the year and beyond and if their was any doubts as to those forecasts to encorage the company to make them public so as to establish an upto date and fully informed market led valuation for the company before making a bid. At least thats the way I would do it. A potential bidder will be looking under every stone even down to getting an enviromental audit. The sure sign of a bid bytheway. | simon14
18/5/2006 16:20 | How much longer can they go on in discussions with offerors for before they make any updates to us meager shareholders? SteMiS has it just right I think. TS reads almost like it was rushed out to me. | cbgb
18/5/2006 16:08 | Certainly does, share price The 15% downgrade comes entirely from 'other ops'; the two main divisions are entirely unaffected. Makes one wonder just how lumpy or otherwise those commissions and fee incomes are, but 15% of total profits is a bit mind-blowing. My normal reaction with such caution on results so early in a new year is to assume things can only get worse and sell, and indeed that's just what I've done here with my small stake. Could well have fallen in a trap here, so to speak, and SteMis puts it well. We'll see what unfolds. | njp |
